Just finished the sketches for the wardrobe meme I'm redoing. Now comes the time consuming line art and coloring.
Time to research 30 different techniques and scrap them for my own style. yeiii!

I'm also working on some Jane Austen novel fan art, I've been wanting to do this for a while but kept putting it off until I felt more comfortable with my skills. I'm just messing around for now. I really want to have a style I'm comfortable with before i commit to finishing anything. Research and practice time. Practice practice practice.

So I've been scoping around DeviantArt for about two-three years now, and I think it's about time I actually got an account. A couple of things have kept me from making an account sooner, among them : lack of time, lack of artistic skillz (considering I just got my bachelors in Graphics programming), and utter procrastination. But now that I find myself with more time than i can manage (irony is rather sweet), and improved my artistic talents to somewhere between struggling and suitable, I figured I might as well plunge in.

I'll upload more pics I have done a bit later (tomorrow probably). And hopefully this plunge will help me improve even more than I have over the last couple of years. I must say DeviantArt was a major help in that aspect. I lacked it in appropriate art classes during college so about 80% of what I've learned has been from this very site. :D
